Photo by ManePhotoWe wish to congratulate the R. Johnson daughter, Rosalyn, on her success in her first year of showing. Rosalyn is Johnson's oldest foal, resulting from a test breeding to the Dutch mare Hiske (Calvados x Pericles) and his first to enter the show arena.

At 4 years of age, in 2002, Rosalyn, although also demonstrating super jumping talent, is beginning her career in the dressage arena. In the fall of 2002, Rosalyn showed Training level at the Mid South Show held at the Lexington, KY Horse Park; winning her class with a 73% and receiving a 9 on gaits from "S" judge Hilda Gurney.

Congratulations to Rosalyn and her owner, Shirley McQuillan of Versailles, KY. We look forward to hearing of Rosalyn's continued success and the success of all Johnson foals.

Wendy Douglas, of Christiana, Kentucky sends us the good news of this handsome new Johnson colt out of her Thoroughbred mare McNichols.

McNichols' foals by Johnson from previous seasons are featured in Colourfields' foal brochure, our multimedia productions and elsewhere in our website.
